Enterprise e-mail archive may contain sensitive information about the enterprise. Therefore it is important that access to the archive is restricted only to authorised personnel within the limits of their access rights. To avoid unauthorised access to the archive the user interface uses authentication. Additionally it is possible to restrict access to particular e-mails by user rights that will be granted based on the from and to address of an e-mail message. Usually any user can see only e-mails which sender or recipient he is.
